In our Design Focus series of articles, we take a closer look at our most popular homes for over 55s living. We’ve previously showcased the Hazelwood and Rawson, and today, we’re featuring the stylish and modern 2-bedroom Allure.
Living and Dining Area
The open-plan living and dining area is centrally located in the heart of the home, and there’s plenty of room to relax and unwind. The living room has easy access to the 1.8m x 3.4m front porch, which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa in the sun. The large windows let in plenty of natural light and the reverse-cycle split-system heating and cooling unit keeps the temperature just right no matter what the season.
Situated at the rear of the living area overlooking the back yard, the kitchen is a good size and well-equipped with all you need. The island bench separates the kitchen from the dining area, and allows the cook of the house to watch their favourite TV shows or join in the conversation while preparing the evening meal.
With two spacious bedrooms, the Allure has plenty of room for family and friends to stay. Bedroom 1 is positioned at the front of the house, and includes a walk-in-robe with access through to the large ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 includes a built-in robe, which gives you plenty of extra storage space. The bathroom is conveniently located between the two bedrooms, and just off the living area. It includes a double vanity, bath, shower and toilet and doubles as an ensuite, with access from Bedroom 1 through the WIR. The laundry is located at the rear of the house, with access directly to the backyard. There is also a separate toilet located at the back of the laundry for convenience.
